Dr. Pradeep K. Dewan performed his first laparoscopic surgery on 1/12/1992 indepedently, being the first few doctors in India to have performed a laparoscopic surgery. Since then he has undertaken more than 20,000 basic and advanced minimal access surgeries including obesity surgery. He has been an active member as a faculty and as a researcher in various international and national conferences/workshops.
